In a context of overexposure to multiple natural risks, the town of Prêcheur engaged very early on in a strategy of spatial reconstruction of its town with the performance of housing operations likely to be attractive for families located on the one hand in areas exposed to the risk of lahars and on the other hand, in areas exposed to risk of rapid marine submersion. The objective of our intervention relates to the relocation of 27 dwellings.
VARIATIONS IN THE USES OF THE GROUND FLOOR
The inhabitants appropriated their ground floor with the freedom to use the materials, the colors characteristic of the commune of Preacher, the doors and old windows. They participate in the design of the place that they adapt to the uses: sale of primary products in short circuit (market gardening, etc.), DIY workshops, fab-lab, meeting places, room in addition...
